That's how I felt 2002 through 2005. Living in the most beautiful place on earth, married to the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, knowing in my gut it was all about to explode. The pain I felt was matched only by the frustration of knowing I couldn't stop it.

I got so low in the middle of all this, the music in my head went silent. That hasn't happened since I was 8 years old! This went on for months!

I'll never forget the day music came back. I said out loud, "What is that? It sounds like humans!"

What does that have to do with my current musical journey? Everything.

I survived divorce and homelessness. They didn't kill me--they only made me stronger. I'm dusting off these songs from 5 years ago. I'm going back home, reliving those emotions, facing those fears again. This time I'm not alone.
